I have no expectation of you will say this, and you shouldn't have that expectation either.
The fact you set aside the time to plan makes it far more likely that you will experience growth. It makes it far more likely that you're going to have momentum because you will have an aim.
... you will be going in a particular direction.
How many times have you started out on Monday, where you're like, "Alright, what am I gonna do this week?" or "What are we going to get done this week?"
If you go into a Monday, and you don't know what you're gonna get done that week?
What do you think you're going to get done that week?
Not a lot.
If you go into January...
Let me rephrase... if you go into a new year, new quarter, into a new business cycle ...
...and you have no idea of the general direction, or the aim you have, it's likely you are going to get lost along the way... and not even realize you are lost, because you never knew where you were going in the first place.
